So you just bought grand theft auto or you've been playing and just need some tips.

-playing with friends or crew members increase your rp (experience points) and money. Friends 20% and crew 30%.
-you unlock vehicle mods by winning online races. Two good tracks to race are ''criminal records'' and ''down the drain''.
-you can make your own play list by going to options, going to online then select playlist. Making a playlist will ensure you only play the maps you want. Games chosen are played in the order you picked them.
- Team death match is how you unlock gun mods. The top team death match maps are commune, farmland, trailer park, and wrath. My personal favorite is wrath and trailer park also commune.
*if your looking to do some crew vs crew matches, then those maps are the ones you'd want since there
close quarters combat.
-Once you reach rank 12 you'll start getting calls from merry weather. You can all for a ammo drop to start out with.
- the best starter car is the comet. The comet will get you where you need to be in a flash. Also it makes a good racing car.
* be sure to visit the mod shop to upgrade your whip (vehicle)
- to use a parachute you will want to drop from at least 150 feet or 100feet. You push a (xbox360) to pull your chute. If your base jumping be sure to stand 4 to 6 feet from the edge of the jump. You have to jump off the edge, not fall or trip off. If you trip or fall off you will go in to a uncontrolled fall, tap x to gain control back then push A pull chute.
- holding the back or select button on the controller will bring up your interaction menu. You can use you quick action by pushing in on both sticks. From the interaction menu you can choose to put your parachute on or smoke a cig.

Money glitch ''swap character''
1) get a car, upgrade to the max.
2) set starting location to last location in the online options.
3) goto the mod shop
4) press sell, then press again to confirm you want to sell
5) once you see sold push pause, goto online, then swap character.
6) once you get to the character screen select your character you was using.
You should now come back inside your vehicle around the mod shop with the money. When selling the vehicle you have a good 20 or 30 seconds to get to the character window.. usually takes less then 10 seconds to do that.
Don't try this after the beach bum update.
